Over steppes and seas, transported by winds and times, the musicians flow, fly and dance on their crafts: a homemade raft (Xala), a self-forged, billowing sail (Stahlcello), all stabilised and driven forwards by the Marimba. Their journey through improvisation ends in the belly of the wood-paneled Auditorio Stelio Molo. Here they have reassembled their musical bundles, composed them into five pieces and recorded them purely acoustically. Thus, breadth and eternity are granted to our everyday life.

"Layers of sound and rhythms overlap to form compositions in the tradition of minimal music, though enchantingly renewed and devoid of any mechanics. Ania Losinger dances on her floor-xylophone Xala, eliciting warm tones from it which vibrate to the sound of steel cello (Jan Heinke) and marimba (Mats Eser). In the CD production the Bernese artist, who is pure physical presence on stage, becomes part of an invisible floating sound-mobile."
